Appointments

Appointments are available by advance booking. Walk-in appointments are accepted only when availability permits. New clients should arrive 10 minutes before their appointment to complete any required forms.

Late Arrival

If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shortened so that following appointments begin on schedule. The full appointment fee may still apply.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 3 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled with less than 3 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be charged up to the full service fee if you previously authorized such charges when booking.

Payment

Payment is due immediately after your session. Accepted forms of payment include:

• American Express
• Discover
• Cash
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
• Zelle

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Gift Certificates

• Are non-refundable
• Cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law
• May not be replaced if lost or stolen
• May have promotional terms if issued as part of a special offer

Packages & Memberships

• Are intended for the original purchaser unless otherwise stated
• Cannot be combined with other promotions unless specified
• Are non-refundable except where required by law

Please inform your massage therapist if you have:

• Recent surgery
• Recent injury
• Pregnancy
• Fever
• Contagious illness
• Skin infection
• Allergies
• High blood pressure
• Heart conditions
• Diabetes
• Osteoporosis
• Cancer treatment
• Any condition your physician has advised may affect massage

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care.

Serene Thara Bodywork provides professional therapeutic massage only. Any inappropriate behavior including:

• Sexual comments
• Inappropriate touching
• Harassment
• Offensive language
• Solicitation of illegal services

will immediately end the massage session. The full appointment fee remains due. Future appointments may be refused.

Service may be refused or discontinued if:

• Massage is unsafe
• The client appears intoxicated
• Professional boundaries are violated
• Abusive behavior occurs
• Treatment is not appropriate

Client information is kept confidential. Health information is used only to provide safe massage services and as otherwise required by law. Personal information is never sold.

Please keep valuables with you. Serene Thara Bodywork is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required consent forms. A parent or guardian may be required to remain on the premises during the appointment.

Please reschedule your appointment if you have:

• Fever
• Flu symptoms
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Contagious illness
• COVID-19 or another communicable respiratory illness

This policy helps protect all clients and staff.

Massage therapy:

• Promotes relaxation
• May reduce muscle tension
• May improve circulation
• Supports general wellness

Massage therapy does not diagnose illness or replace medical treatment. Always consult your physician regarding medical conditions.

Serene Thara Bodywork collects information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and appointment details, to schedule services, communicate with you, and improve your experience.

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our business or when required by law.
